Coinbase Relists Ripple
Moments after Ripple partially won the case against the SEC, Coinbase decide to relist the cryptocurrency after a suspension of more than 2.5 years.
Ripple was discontinued from trading at Coinbase following the SEC’s case which was filed in December 2020. On the 28th of the same month Coinbase decided to suspend trading Ripple on its exchange. The suspension was effective from January 19, 2021.
After two and half years, when the case against Ripple finally came to an end with the Court judgement that retail XRP sales were not “security offerings”, Ripple is now relisted on Coinbase and has begun trading. The exchange notified this news through Twitter.
The exchange also started trading the XRP-USD pair on advanced trade. All features related to trading such as limit orders, market orders, and stop orders are now active on Coinbase.
