About Worldcoin

Worldcoin is a cryptocurrency built on Ethereum that offers digital identity security based on blockchain. The coin saw 2 million users since May 5, 2021. However since its launch on Monday, July 24, 2023, it faced heat from the community regarding its iris scan method to verify data.

Though iris scan method is a reliable way to prove that the user is a human, it is still a highly sensitive data to share with others much like fingerprints. Crypto community users have raised eyebrows regarding the storage and sharing of such sensitive data.
